Henry's Lunchbox - Week 14

Henry pa cked 5 days of school lunches this week . H is lunches had highs and lows. On Monday, he ate a cookie and a pistachio. On Friday, h e devoured everything in his lunch box. Henry's Lunchbox - Week 13

Only 3 days of school lunches this week . Henry had a cold so he stayed home for a couple of days with warm soup and cold popsic les. As part of being sick, h is appetite was much smaller than usual. Henry's Lunchbox - Week 12

This week Henry packed 4 days of school lunches .    For December, our family is doing a kindness advent calendar . Each morning we find out a secret kindness mission for the day and talk about the experience at dinner . I put together a version that fits our family with kid-friendly ideas from several sources . We're calling them "secret kindness missions" since it gives Henry a sense that he has a special job (like a secret agent). On DAY 4 (December 1), I used Henry's lunchbox note to remind him about this new December routine. I read him the note before school so that he would know what it said. His kindness activity f or the first day was to give both of his teachers a compliment. During breakfast, we role played a few things that he could say.
